How did I find the Spa?
I was scheduling a photoshoot in Bali and I was told to send example photos to the photographer. I went on Pinterest and found random photos of people in Bali, one of which was a woman in a bath filled with colorful flowers. The photographer answered back and said he knew the exact Spa the photo was taken at so I decided that would be the best place to meet for our scheduled photoshoot.
How do I get an appointment?
It initially took me a few days to get in contact the people from the spa so to save you some time I will tell you exactly how to do it. WhatsApp. The Official WhatsApp phone number for the Kaveri Spa is +62 817-9904-566. The initial date I wanted wasn’t available, but I was able to get an appointment for 2 days later. I made my appointment a few days out (like 3-4 days) because y’all know I didn’t plan that far in advanced.
In the process of booking the appointment they ask you what design you want for your flower bath. They can pretty much do whatever design you want. I found a photo on Pinterest and then told them that I wanted my name in the design because I couldn’t think of anything else to write on the flower bath.
How much does it cost?
Upon requesting an appointment, I received an email with the menu of services with prices listed. At the time I booked my appointment (August 2019), the price for the services I received, “Celebration of Flowers”, were listed as 450,000IDR ($32 USD) for a 45min solo session. I was required to pay a 50% deposit at the time of booking to reserve my spot.
How was the experience?
When I arrived at the Udaya Resort I was escorted to the Kaveri Spa by one of the ladies at the entrance. I was told by the spa staff that my room was not ready at the moment and that I needed to wait for about 15mins. I was given a tea and a cool towel while I waited. The tea was pretty good!
The water was warm, and the design was exact as I had requested it. It was SO CUTE! I had 45minutes to take some photos and video with the photographer. They gave me a 15min warning when my time was up so that I could shower and change my clothes. I had flower petals in places I don’t think flower petals should be, so I had to shower afterwards in the attached bathroom.
Overall for the price, I thought it was a great value service that I would recommend that others to experience.
